Returning to atB Jobs Bangladesh: My Women’s Job Fair 2026 Experience
Some events leave a lasting impression—not because of their size alone, but because of the purpose they represent. Women’s Job Fair 2026, organized by atB Jobs Bangladesh in collaboration with Career Hub – Powered by BRAC, was one of those events for me.
Although I recently said goodbye to atB Jobs Bangladesh after spending almost two incredible years with the marketing team, I was more than happy to return as a volunteer for this special event. atB has given me countless memories, valuable professional experiences, and opportunities to grow. Being able to contribute once again made the experience even more meaningful.
The fair, held at Elite Convention Hall in Gulshan on 19 June 2026, was Bangladesh’s first large-scale, completely paperless women’s job fair. More than just a recruitment event, it was a platform designed to encourage women’s participation in the workforce by creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement. Thousands of women from different educational and professional backgrounds filled the venue with energy, hope, and ambition. As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to assist visitors, guide participants, and witness countless conversations between recruiters and job seekers. Seeing candidates confidently interact with employers reminded me how important such dedicated initiatives are.
One of the most impressive aspects of the event was its digital-first approach. Instead of carrying printed CVs, job seekers simply scanned QR codes at company booths and submitted applications instantly through their smartphones. This paperless system made the entire recruitment process faster, more organized, and environmentally friendly.
The scale of the event was equally remarkable. Around 50 leading local and multinational organizations participated, while thousands of attendees submitted more than eleven thousand job applications through digital platforms. It was inspiring to see so many companies actively investing in women’s career development and creating opportunities across different industries.
Having worked in the marketing team at atB Jobs Bangladesh, I know how much planning, creativity, and teamwork go into organizing an event of this magnitude. Walking through the venue as a volunteer gave me a different perspective—I was able to see months of hard work come to life through the smiles of participants and the enthusiasm of employers.

I have always enjoyed attending and working at events because every event tells a unique story. Women’s Job Fair 2026 was more than just another event on the calendar; it represented progress, inclusion, and hope. It demonstrated that when organizations create the right environment, talented women are ready to step forward and seize new opportunities.
Looking back, I feel proud to have been a small part of this milestone. Whether as a former team member or a volunteer, contributing to an initiative that empowers thousands of women is something I will always remember. I sincerely hope this job fair continues every year and expands across Bangladesh, inspiring even more women to pursue their careers with confidence.
Some memories stay with us because they remind us why meaningful work matters. For me, Women’s Job Fair 2026 will always be one of those memories.
