For many years, I have worked in the tech and business sector through writing and content creation. Stepping into the 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 as a 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 at 𝐎𝐊𝐔𝐏 has opened an entirely new chapter in my professional journey.
Despite having opportunities in several software companies, I chose to join OKUP because I genuinely wanted to understand how development work happens at the grassroots level, how an organisation stands beside people, supports vulnerable communities, and contributes to meaningful change in their lives.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit several migrant beneficiaries in Manikganj. Walking through rural paths, visiting their homes, and seeing their everyday realities firsthand gave me a perspective that no report, meeting, or screen could fully provide.

I have always wanted to see and understand how people in rural communities navigate challenges, survive difficult circumstances, and sometimes take significant risks in the hope of building a better future.
As someone working in digital communication and social campaigns, I believe that meaningful storytelling begins with listening, observing, and understanding the real people behind every story.
This is only the beginning of my journey in the development sector, and I am sincerely grateful to OKUP – Ovibashi Karmi Unnayan Program for giving me the opportunity to learn from the field and experience these realities firsthand.
Looking forward to learning more, listening to more stories, and contributing through my work.
